You can nominate a Safeplace, change delivery date, choose a neighbour or deliver to your local Royal Mail shop/Office in case you're not home – this is available on Tracked 24 and 48 parcels.

How to use this service

  1. You will receive an email, SMS or push notification from the Royal Mail App for eligible items and we'll also let you know when to expect your parcel

  2. This will take you through to Track and Trace either online or within the app

  3. Click on Change Delivery Options

  4. Enter the item barcode and delivery postcode

  5. Select your preferred change options which are available and submit

If Royal Mail are unable to deliver your package, they will leave a 'something for you' card with details for redelivery or collection from your local delivery office.
