If you know in advance that you will not be available to accept delivery, please refer to your text message or email from DPD.
You can then choose from the following options:
- Collect from a DPD Pickup Shop
- Deliver to a safe place
- Deliver to my neighbour
- Change the delivery day
- Upgrade my delivery (a charge will be payable to DPD)
If you are not available at the time of delivery, DPD will try to leave your parcel with a neighbour.
If this is not possible, they will leave a 'sorry we missed you' card with instructions. You can then contact DPD and arrange re-delivery or collection.
If you do not contact DPD, they will re-attempt delivery on the next working day. If a second delivery attempt fails, they will re-attempt once more.
If the third delivery attempt fails, the package will be returned to us. At this point, we will contact you.
