We can print edge-to-edge. Please include 3mm bleed on your artwork. If the bleed is not added, white borders may be visible.

Can you print to the edge of the page?

We recommend 3mm bleed and crop marks. If you have colour or images, bleed is required to ensure the artwork is printed edge to edge.

How much bleed do I need?

As a general rule, we recommend a 5mm artwork margin. However, some bound documents require larger margins to account for the binding edge.

How much print margin do I need?

If you require edge-to-edge printing, we advise that 3mm of bleed is supplied to your document.

How to add bleed - Without design software

The best practice is to design your document at the size you wish to print it. This will prevent issues when upscaling or downscaling.

How to choose the correct paper size for your document

Artwork can be scaled to a smaller or larger size. We can scale it down to size if you upload an A4 file and choose A5 printing.

Can you scale my artwork?

Yes, we can print Letter sized (AQ, 216 x 279mm) documents. Please choose the Letter paper size when configuring your document.

Can you print Letter (AQ) sized documents?

We print all artwork, which usually means a single page is printed. We can`t accept single-page artwork for printing as X pages per sheet.

Can you print my file as X pages per sheet?

Your document may include a non-standard paper size if the document's page dimensions are outside one of the 'A' sizes.

Why have I received a non-standard paper size message?

We print in CMYK, so please ensure your artwork is in CMYK. For greater control over the printed output, submit CMYK artwork only.

Do you print in CMYK or RGB?

Colours

You should add at least ½ inch border around your artwork plus bleed. Anything less than this may result in an uneven border after trimming.

Does your artwork have a border?

Our notebook products offer the inside pages in plain, lined or squared format. We provide an option to have headers or footers printed.

How to design your header and footer

We do not offer a design or formatting service. Most of our customers use Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe InDesign and more to create artwork.

Can you design my artwork?

We have templates for business cards, greetings cards and cover templates for wire, comb, velo, synthetic wire and wirebound notebooks.

Artwork Design

Yes, please ensure all fonts are embedded within your artwork. If fonts are not embedded, they may be substituted for an alternate font.

Do fonts need to be embedded?

Please ensure images are 300 dpi or above. DPI refers to the number of dots per inch. The higher the DPI, the higher the image quality.

What image quality or resolution do you recommend?

To minimise the risk of pixelation, ensure all images are min 300 dpi. The file artwork size should also match the printed paper size.

My images look pixelated. Will it print this way?
