The Christmas period is the busiest time of year for all UK couriers, and while we work hard to dispatch orders on time, delivery services can experience delays outside of our control. This article explains what to expect, how to track your parcel, and what to do if your order is delayed.
1. Dispatch Time vs Delivery Time
Once your order is placed, it enters our production queue. Each product has its own production time, which is shown clearly at checkout.
During December, production continues as normal, but courier networks can run slower due to high volumes.
2. Delivery Services & Christmas Impact
Royal Mail Tracked 48
Our slowest service.
Delivery dates are estimated and not guaranteed.
Your parcel may take a few days longer than usual.
Royal Mail Tracked 24
Faster than Tracked 48, but still an estimated service.
Can experience minimum 1β2 day delays during peak periods.
Courier DPD
Most reliable option during Christmas.
Delivery dates are usually accurate, but occasional delays may still occur due to high volume.
3. What If My Order is Late?
If your parcel has not arrived within the estimated delivery window, the first step is to contact the delivery provider directly using your tracking number. Couriers have access to more detailed, real-time information than we do and can often resolve delivery queries faster.
If your order is more than 5+ working days late (beyond the estimated delivery date), please get in touch with us and we will look into it further.
