Greeting cards are loose sheets which are folded into multiple panels.
We offer 1 folding option for this product:
Half fold
Landscape - 50% vertical fold
Portrait - 50% horizontal fold
How should I set-up my artwork?
This depends on the desired orientation of your half folded sheet - landscape or portrait.
If your end product is landscape, your artwork must be supplied in portrait.
If your end product is portrait, your artwork must be supplied in landscape.
Each page of your 2 page file must be split at 50%. The fold will be placed at 50%, as shown in the document previewer after upload.
Pagination:
Set-up your 2 page PDF as below, in accordance with the desired finish orientation (landscape or portrait).
Which paper size should I order?
Due to the nature of greeting cards printing, you must order 1 size up from your desired finish size. For example, if you require A5 finish size, order A4. When your artwork spread is folded in half, this will become A5.
A6 finish size: order A5
A5 finish size: order A4
A4 finish size: order A3
How to order:
There are three options - use a template, upload a design or design your own (using our Design Tool).
Option 1
Use a template - quick, customisable designs and ready for you to use.
Click 'Order now' on the Greeting Card printing page.
You can then select 'Use a template' and choose the spec you require (e.g. portrait or landscape, single sided or double sided).
We have a number of pre-made templates available for you to use. These are customisable and allow you to change text or add images/logos using the Doxzoo Design Tool.
Option 2
Uploading a design
Click 'Order now' on the Greeting Card page.
You can then select 'Upload a design' and choose the spec you require (e.g. portrait or landscape, single sided or double sided).
A pop up box will appear with a 'Select file to upload' option. This will also display the required dimensions for your design.
Option 3
Design your own - use our Design Tool to create the perfect greeting card.
Click 'Order now' on the Greeting Card printing page.
You can then select 'Design your own' and choose the spec you require (e.g. portrait or landscape, single sided or double sided).
Once selected, you will be taken to the Doxzoo Design Tool. Here you can choose background colours, add photos/logos as well as adding text.
