Why does my hardback book have glue at the top?

Updated over a week ago

During the production of our hardback books, a small amount of glue may be visible at the top and bottom of the spine. This is a normal part of the binding process and is expected with this style of bookbinding.

Please be assured that any visible glue is minimal and does not impact the functionality, durability, or overall quality of the book.

Our hardback books are not designed to lay fully flat, and due to the nature of the binding method used in production, some glue visibility is almost always likely to occur. This is a standard characteristic rather than a defect.
